Adobe Creative Suite CS5 will be released 30 days from April 12, 2010. The question hanging in the air, which always takes awhile to answer, is what exactly is the difference between CS4 and CS5? And is my upgrade to CS5 worth the money? A short answer to both is, yes, there are many beneficial additions to CS4 in CS5 that makes it definitely worth the upgrade.
Its release has long been awaited by designers yearning for Adobe to fulfill certain technical requests. The word is that CS5 has not only filled those requests but has gone much further to provide unexpected, new features and tools.
There are a few changes between CS4 and CS5 that I will outline below. However, there are many more changes that I will not attempt to name, for some are very minute and technical, such as changes in user interface.
Adobe Creative Suites CS5 Standard vs. Premium
Visit My Lens for more information.
First, there are two editions of the Adobe 5 creative suite, Adobe Design Premium CS5 and Adobe Design Standard CS5. The main difference between the Premium Design and the Standard Design is that in the Premium Adobe Photoshop CS5 Extended is included within the package, as is Adobe Flash Professional CS5, Adobe Flash Catalyst CS5, Adobe Dreamweaver CS5, and Adobe Fireworks CS5.
Premium packages are targeted to professionals. So, Premium versions are also offered in all the Adobe packages: Adobe Creative Suite 5 Web Premium, Adobe Creative Suite 5 Production Premium, and the Adobe Creative Suite 5 Master Collection that contains all the premium packages.

Adobe Photoshop CS5 Additions
Visit My Lens for more information.
Adobe Photoshop CS5 has significantly upgraded Adobe Camera Raw and Bridge. For efficiency sake, Photoshop now provides access to Bridge as a panel. This makes it much easier for creators to steer back and forth between the two programs that are both vital to a photographic production.
There have been significant additions to Adobe Photoshop tools. The additions include new powerful cloning tools as well as Content Aware Fill, Content Aware Heal, new brush and painting options, and Puppet Wrap.
Also, JDI (Just Do It) was another focus of Adobe Photoshop creators in CS5. "Just Do It" refers to the Adobe designers' attitude towards fixing the little technical nuances in Photoshop that make working in Photoshop smoother and more efficient.
Adobe Flash CS5 Additions
Visit My Lens for more information.
Probably the most anticipated addition to Adobe Flash CS5 is the 3D physics applications. The general census, however, is even more than CS4, one no longer needs to take a class in Flash to know what is going on; Flash CS5 has easier code that makes working within Flash a lot more intuitive for the laymen.
Also, a few powerful tools make an upgrade to Adobe Flash CS5 worthwhile. There are new spring functions in the bone tool for creating inverse kinematic results. Powerful new text engine tools were added to aid accuracy in typography design. There are also new deco brushes. Flash Professional CS5 is also much faster due to the new action script code.
Adobe Dreamweaver CS5 Additions
Visit My Lens for more information.
Adobe Dreamweaver CS5 software is easier to insert live data into web pages using AJAX. It is has a function that allows you to develop with PHP-based content systems such as Joomla!, Drupal, and Wordpress. Adobe BrowserLab is also a new addition that allows you to test your web pages across browsers. Furthermore, there are many more powerful CSS inspection tools.

Pioneer AVH-P3100DVD 5.8-Inch In-Dash Touchscreen DVD Multimedia
Pioneer AVH-P3100DVD Car DVD Player
The Pioneer AVH-P3100DVD 5.8-Inch In-Dash Touchscreen Double-Din DVD Multimedia A/V Receiver is one of the most popular car DVD players, mainly because it is extremely multi-functional and efficient for the price.
The Pioneer DVD Player has a 5.8-inch wide touch screen and is able to play DVDs, DivX, and MP3/WMA/iTunes AAC. It has iPod direct control as well as a Bluetooth adapter.
The player is extremely applicable to any media need. You can simply plug in your iPod with a CD-IU50V cable and have your music play through your car speakers. The player is touch screen, so instead of having to search your music song by song on your iPod, you simply scroll through your music on a much larger screen.
Plus, the Pioneer DVD player was made to play the files as they would be heard on a CD, which is different from hearing the music through your iPod headphones because of the digital compression process.
The player is also Bluetooth compatible. Stop using your headset and plug your Bluetooth phone into the Pioneer Player with the provided CD-BTB200 Bluetooth adapter, and poof, ridin’ hands free baby.
The unit also has a speakerphone that uses your car speakers and a huge plus is that it automatically mutes your music upon an incoming call, which translates into riding free and jamin’ without thinking of missing a call.
Pioneer has done very well.

The new Garmin Nuvi 3790T vs. Garmin Nuvi 265WT
Released April 19, 2010, the Garmin Nüvi 3790T 4.3-Inch GPS Navigator is the latest version of the Garmin GPS navigation systems. The newest version is not released until August 15, 2010. It surpasses its predecessors in the versatility and efficiency of its design, its more advanced display resolution, and its' applications, which include the Eco-Route, myTrends, and trafficTrends.
However, some may only want a GPS that will simply get the job done and is less costly; in that case, the Garmin nüvi 265W/265WT Bluetooth Portable GPS Navigator will meet those needs.
Garmin nüvi 3790T
The Nuvi 3790T is as wide as a #2 pencil and with a multi-touch display stretching 4.3" at the diagonal it fits perfectly in your hand.
The Garmin Nüvi 3790T comes with advanced routing capabilities, such as traffic Trends, which automatically tracks daytime trends for traffic flow. Also, Garmin offers another application that overtime saves your destinations and eventually records the routes and directs you without you having to say a word. Both of these applications combined track traffic patters and help you arrive to your destinations on time.
Also, the Garmin Nüvi 3790T navigation system has speech recognition that allows you to tell it where to go without your hands leaving the wheel. The new Nuvi 3790T is also compatible with your Blue tooth phone and allows you to make calls via voice commands.
The Garmin Nüvi 3790T GPS Navigator not only guides you to your destination, but it digitally projects the landmarks and the terrain in 3-D.
Eco-Route is also another additional component that allows the driver to choose a fuel-efficient route by tracking fuel consumption.
Garmin Nüvi 265W/265WT GPS Navigation System
The Garmin Nüvi 265W/265WT 4.3-Inch Widescreen Portable GPS Navigator with Traffic has been available to the public for awhile and prides itself on the motto, "Get the big picture and big features for a small price."
The Nuvi 265WT offers preloaded maps as well as directions that denote the route turn by turn and uses street names. It is very simple to use and begins with the questions, "Where to?" and "View Map?." With a touch screen, you can easily mark your destination and voice command will lead you there.

The only difference between the two Garmin Nuvi Navigation systems is the Nuvi 3790T has more advanced display capabilities and also has the applications, eco-route, trafficTrends, myTrends, that the Nuvi 265Wt does not.

Panasonic DMP-BD85 Wifi Enabled Blu-Ray Disc Player
Panasonic DMP-BD85K WiFi Enabled Blu-Ray Disc Player (Black) was recently released in February 2010 and is now the best player Panasonic offers due to its built in wireless internet capabilities.
The new DMP BD85 Blu-Ray Disc Player was built to replace the BD80 Blu-Ray. Similar to the BD80, the BD85 sports a full 1080p display with an up-conversion of 480/720p resolutions. However, the BD85 has much higher resolution precision, which makes the picture more vibrant and smooth.
The main difference between the two Panasonic Blu-Rays is the new built in wireless networking capabilities in the BD85. These capabilities are adaptable to DNLA, meaning, internet content, such as JPEG, AVCHD, WMV, can more easily be viewed due to a faster connection that in turn makes the VIERA Cast much more functional.
The user does not need a LAN line to access web content. The built in wireless capabilities make the connection to Netflix extremely smooth. The access to Netflix movie streams is instantaneous and the user can also access YouTube, Picasa and other internet sites from the VIERA Cast screen.
The internet swiftness of the BD85 surpasses its predecessor, and with the price of the two newest and hottest Panasonic Blu-Rays, the BD80 and the BD85, just a dollar apart on Amazon, it is not a question which one will be displayed in lucky households.
